Mabel returns to form with her new self-titled mixtape—her most revealing and genre-fluid project yet. Released on Polydor Records, the 9-track collection sees the BRIT winner reconnect with her foundational sound while venturing into new artistic terrain.

The mixtape was crafted in collaboration with Oscar Scheller and Arthur Bean, and features a guest verse from Clavish on the track “Benz.” Recorded mostly at home, the result is an intimate yet expansive body of work.

Of the release, Mabel states: “This mixtape being self-titled is an important moment for me because it feels like a reintroduction…”

The lead focus track, “Turn Me Up,” showcases dreamlike production and lyrical depth. Mabel glides over rhythmic textures with poise, capturing the dualities of passion and imperfection.

She adds: “This track is definitely my favourite on the mixtape. It’s about the imperfect side of relationships and meeting your match for better or for worse!”

“Turn Me Up” and the rest of the project create a sonic snapshot of an artist in control of her narrative—and her sound.
