Today marks the arrival of Change of Plans, the debut EP from rising alt-pop artist Ally Salort. Released via Disruptor Records/RCA Records, the project showcases Ally’s poignant voice and lyrical honesty, grounded in themes of change, heartbreak, and self-empowerment.
The six-track release includes hits like “Horror Movie” and “Tattoo (Selective Memory)” along with newly updated versions of “Swiss Army Knife” and “Any Way I Can.” From vulnerable confessionals to bold anthems, Change of Plans gives voice to moments of emotional detour.
In Ally’s words: “‘Change of Plans’ felt like the perfect title to describe the emotional detour this project takes you through…”
The EP makes clear that change is not only inevitable but necessary. Through her storytelling, Ally embraces contradiction, transformation, and the process of self-discovery—key themes that echo across every track.
She’ll headline shows in LA and NYC this August before joining Austin City Limits in October, signaling her fast-growing momentum in the music scene.
