Whitney Whitney’s ‘1.1’ EP Arrives with Poetic Emotion and Cinematic Sound

Whitney Whitney emerges with her debut project, 1.1, now available via Atlantic Records. The release introduces her creative blend of poetic storytelling, emotional transparency, and rich pop textures.

The EP’s highlight is “Touching You,” a track accompanied by a visualizer that dives into imagined emotions:

“‘Touching You’ is a song about falling in love again… So single actually. But I wanted to channel what it must feel like.”

Reflecting on the process of creating the project, Whitney said:

“Writing this EP was one of the most fun and rewarding things I’ve ever done… It’s so many things at once that all mean so much to me.”

Raised between Connecticut and Manhattan, Whitney Whitney shaped her creative world through theater, classic pop, and emotional journaling. Now based in Los Angeles, she’s brought those influences together under the production of Justin Lucas, known for work with Alec Benjamin, Khalid, and others.

1.1 marks not only a musical debut but the beginning of a conceptual series Whitney intends to roll out. Each project will serve as its own emotional “world,” and 1.1 stands as the first cinematic portal into that journey.
