Offset’s new single “Bodies,” featuring fellow Atlanta innovator J.I.D, arrives as both a musical and visual triumph. With a sample from Drowning Pool and a fashion-forward video, the track highlights Offset’s growing vision as an artist and creative director.

Produced by Vinylz and FNZ, “Bodies” rides a wave of brooding production—a haunting choir and heavy piano back Offset’s confident bars. “‘I’ve been cooking this up for a minute and I’m just getting started,’” Offset explains.

The track features J.I.D., whose lyrical agility offers a perfect counterpart. Together, the duo makes a statement that’s hard to ignore.

In the visual, Offset blurs genre, fashion, and surrealism. Models in monochrome attire, fire-lit choirs, and dreamlike desert shots all play out under Offset’s direction. J.I.D. is cast against a reaper—visually reinforcing the track’s themes of mortality, power, and self-determination.
