Will Smith’s “Pretty Girls” Brings Summer Fun Ahead of Global Tour Launch

Will Smith continues his music comeback with “Pretty Girls,” an upbeat new single released via SLANG Recordings. Blending carefree melodies with tight production by OmArr and Lexoskeleton, the track is an instant summer mood booster. A fun, vibrant video directed by Conor Cunningham brings added energy and flair.

This single follows the release of Based on a True Story, Smith’s first full-length project in 20 years. The 14-track album brings together an eclectic mix of voices including DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jac Ross, and features previously released songs like “TANTRUM,” “Work of Art,” and the gospel chart-topper “You Can Make It.”

“You Can Make It” reached No.1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart, a milestone that marks Smith’s first #1 since “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It.” He introduced the track with a memorable live debut at the 2024 BET Awards—standing in flames, both literal and figurative, as he delivered a hopeful message of resilience.

Smith is now preparing for his Based on a True Story Summer Tour—the first of his career. Beginning July 13 in Hamburg, the tour will cover major cities across Europe and Morocco with festival appearances lined up at Mawazine, POSITIV, Dreambeach, and BIG ART Festival.
