David Guetta & Cedric Gervais Tap Into Nu-Disco Magic on ‘A Better World’

French icons Guetta and Gervais drop their nu-disco single ‘A Better World’, channeling soulful 70s influences.
Internationally acclaimed DJs and producers David Guetta and Cedric Gervais return with A Better World, a soulful, nu-disco-driven single that brings their musical heritage full circle. The track is built on uplifting melodies, live instrumentals, and new vocals that draw inspiration from Jackie Moore’s beloved 70s classic.
“This record comes back to our musical roots,” said Cedric Gervais. “Being French, I grew up with French house: DJ Falcon, Cassius, Daft Punk, and many more incredible artists. That’s what we wanted to do with this record: bring back that sound!”
A Better World carries a message of joy and connection, echoing the ethos of Guetta and Gervais’s early days spinning records in underground French clubs. It follows their previous joint efforts, including Would I Lie to You, which reached over 500 million streams, and last year’s high-energy single Switch.
Gervais continues to push boundaries with recent releases like Bad Girl, Feel Better, and reimagined dance classics such as House Music and We Are Family. His live shows span the globe, from EDC Orlando to legendary clubs like Cavo Paradiso.
Meanwhile, Guetta’s global tour features highlights including residencies at Ibiza’s Ushuaïa and UNVRS, along with major festival appearances at Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and more. He’ll also headline stadiums like Marseille’s Orange Vélodrome this summer.
A Better World is available now on all streaming platforms, offering fans a timeless fusion of past and present.
