Sophia Warren’s latest EP Adesso, out via Tigris 33/UMG, is a sonic self-exploration steeped in emotional truth. Accompanied by the vulnerable and poetic track “Purple,” Warren presents an unfiltered look at personal growth in real time.
“‘Adesso’ means now,” says Warren, “and these songs are about me peeling back the layers of uncertainty and learning to trust my own voice.”
On “Purple,” Warren captures a moment of internal confrontation. “It’s the sound of me facing my anxiety… even when I wanted to run from it.” Produced by Chris Coady, the track blends ambient textures with grounded lyricism, illustrating the emotional merger of anger and sorrow — and the balance found in between.
As the second release in a three-part EP series, Adesso builds upon Warren’s narrative of coming-of-age with intensity and grace.
