With his latest release “Facelift,” Gold Fang channels a bold personal truth into a dancehall-rooted anthem alongside producer 1st Klase. It’s a confident and introspective return that sees the Trinidad-born, Sydney-based artist reaffirm his voice in the international space.

The song, written with J.Ar.J on a UK writing trip supported by Music Australia, unpacks the emotional toll of navigating music industry scrutiny. “Facelift” is as much a groove as it is a statement—blending Afro-Caribbean bounce with storytelling drawn from lived experience.

Filmed on location in Trinidad, the Rael Luvi-directed music video visually captures Gold Fang’s reconnection to his heritage and culture. He adds, “Being a dancehall/trinibad artist in a soca-driven scene… it was a perfect match up.”

Having shared stages with Lil Nas X, J Balvin, and Fire Boy DML, Gold Fang has built a reputation for his genre-blending sets and unique sound. “Facelift” only cements his standing as an artist unafraid to stand in his truth.
