With the release of their sophomore album Growing Pains, Trousdale steps into their most self-assured era yet. The Los Angeles-based trio — Quinn D’Andrea, Georgia Greene, and Lauren Jones — deliver a heartfelt body of work that balances introspection with empowerment, vulnerability with strength.

From the outset, the trio wanted the album to reflect the emotional weight of change — the moments when we stretch beyond comfort and confront uncertainty. “We’ve been thinking a lot about the tension that comes with change,” says Jones. “Wanting it, fighting it, embracing it.”

D’Andrea adds, “From what was, something new can always grow.”

Co-produced with John Mark Nelson and featuring contributions from Mags Duval and Lawrence Rothman, Growing Pains captures the soul of Trousdale’s live energy. Recorded primarily in the room with a full rhythm section, the album delivers the most cohesive version of their sound to date — full of shimmering harmonies, acoustic warmth, and emotional storytelling.

“Making this album was about trusting the process,” the trio shares. “We allowed ourselves to lean on our collaborators, to keep it simple, and to enjoy the ride. That choice changed everything.”

Whether navigating heartbreak or hope, Growing Pains is a sonic reflection of becoming — beautifully honest, deeply personal, and universally resonant. With this release, Trousdale doesn’t just evolve — they emerge transformed.
