Kassi Ashton unveils “Sounds Like Something I’d Say,” a duet with Parker McCollum that showcases vulnerable storytelling and soulful vocals. The track is part of Kassi’s upcoming deluxe album, Made From The Dirt: The Blooms, out April 25 via MCA Nashville.

Kassi shares her excitement about the collaboration:
“Parker is a great friend of mine and I love his voice. The first time I ever heard him sing this song, we were backstage at the Ryman. I knew I had to cut it and that he had to sing it with me.”

Parker, who has long admired Kassi’s talent, adds:
“Kassi has been one of my favorite singers in Nashville for quite some time. I had a demo in my phone of her singing this song for a few years. After begging her to record it for a long time, she finally said she’d do it if I’d sing on it with her. I’m so glad I decided to do it and I hope it hits all the feels when people hear it.”

As she gears up for the album release, Kassi will hit the road with Jon Pardi on the Honkytonk Hollywood Tour, beginning April 25, and perform at Audacy’s Leading Ladies event on April 3.
