Award-winning artist Mae Martin unveils I’m A TV, their first indie rock album, out February 27. Listen to two tracks now.

Award-winning comedian, actor, and writer Mae Martin takes a bold step into music with the announcement of their debut album, I’m A TV, available February 27, 2025, via Universal Music Canada and Republic Records. Preceding the release, two tracks, “Good Dream” and “Stowaway,” are now streaming.

Produced by Jason Couse and Wes Marskell of The Darcys, I’m A TV blends indie rock with themes of millennial nostalgia. Written entirely by Mae, the album reflects a vivid journey of self-expression, exploring coming-of-age emotions and formative experiences.

“I never thought I’d share the songs I wrote as a teenager,” Mae said. “But moving to LA allowed me to reconnect with that part of myself and write music without the pressure of finding a punchline. This album feels like an authentic extension of everything I’ve been trying to express creatively.”

Jeffrey Remedios, UMC Chairman & CEO, shared, “Mae’s artistry is multifaceted, and this album reflects their openness and authenticity. We’re thrilled to support Mae in bringing this inspiring body of work to the world.”

Mae Martin’s I’m A TV is a heartfelt debut, offering fans a fresh perspective on their creativity and storytelling.
