Calum Hood emerges as a solo artist with the release of his long-anticipated debut album ‘ORDER chaos ORDER’, available now via Capitol Records. A departure from his work with 5 Seconds of Summer, the album marks a raw, introspective turn in Calum’s already impressive career. Accompanying the release is the official video for “Sunsetter,” a standout track.

Described as both dazzling and brooding, the album was born out of a creative journey shaped by emotional growth. “My lyrics come from a place of purity,” Calum says. “It was important to pay homage to that side of my younger self.”

The record features contributions from Jackson Phillips (Day Wave), David Burris, and TMS, offering an atmospheric blend of analog and digital sound. The production mirrors Calum’s internal landscape: layered, thoughtful, and occasionally chaotic.

Opening track “Don’t Forget You Love Me” served as the emotional and sonic cornerstone of the project. Named a “Song You Need To Know” by Rolling Stone, the single laid the groundwork for the nine emotionally resonant tracks that follow.

With songs like “Call Me When You Know Better” and “All My Affection,” Calum unpacks regret, reflection, and renewal. The album gently demands repeat listens—each one revealing new melodic and lyrical textures.
