Niko Rubio continues to shape her bilingual sound with the poignant release of “Quisiera Saber,” her latest single via Atlantic Records. The track, rooted in emotional sincerity and backed by Spanish guitar, is a preview from her upcoming EP Ring Ring, arriving June 24.
Rubio explains, “‘Quisiera Saber’ is the saddest song on the EP. It says, ‘I wish I knew how to help you and take away all the pain, if you would let me.’ I tried to be as vulnerable as possible for this project.”
Her evolving sound takes shape on Ring Ring, produced by Lester Mendez, known for collaborating with global stars like Shakira and Nelly Furtado. The project includes the previously released title track “Ring Ring,” a rhythm-infused standout co-written with Julian Bernal and Mike Rincon.
In describing the spirit of the EP, Rubio adds, “Sonically inspired by the California beaches and trips to Mexico City, my second Spanish EP Ring Ring, might be my favorite project I’ve ever made.”
The official music video for “Quisiera Saber” is now live, accompanying a rollout that merges emotion, visual storytelling, and Latin pop production.
A hometown celebration is scheduled for June 24 at Los Angeles’ Moroccan Lounge, where Rubio will perform the EP live for fans.
