With [We are], the newly rebranded i-dle (formerly (G)I-DLE) embrace a new era of creative and personal evolution. The mini-album, led by focus track “Good Thing,” features six tracks that showcase the group’s confident artistry and renewed vision.

The name change—dropping the “G” and parentheses—is more than a rebrand. It reflects a conscious decision to reject gendered assumptions and lean fully into the limitless possibilities of their identity as artists. i-dle is now a blank canvas—free of labels, full of potential.

Members MINNIE, MIYEON, SHUHUA, SOYEON, and YUQI have always been known for their self-sufficient creative process. From debuting with “LATATA” to topping global charts, they’ve consistently demonstrated their ability to shape K-pop from the inside out.

Their influence is reflected in the numbers: 6.8 million monthly Spotify listeners, multiple #1 debuts in Korea, and a spot among the top 5 best-selling K-pop girl groups for first-week sales. Accolades from GRAMMY.com, Refinery29, and Elle have underscored what fans have known from the start—i-dle are innovators.

[We are] is both a declaration and a new beginning, setting the tone for what the group calls their “limitless” future. Stylish, daring, and deeply personal, the mini-album reintroduces i-dle not just as stars—but as storytellers.
