UK indie rock icons Wolf Alice have announced The Clearing, their fourth studio album set to release August 29, and a huge international tour in its support. The North American leg begins September 10 in Atlanta and wraps in Los Angeles, while the band is also set to perform at Glastonbury and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

The tour features some of the biggest venues of their career, including a headline show at London’s O2 Arena, marking a major milestone for the quartet.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of new single “Bloom Baby Bloom”, a potent return that showcases Ellie Rowsell’s vocal range and lyrical edge. “I’ve used the guitar as a shield in the past,” Rowsell says. “But it’s been freeing to put it down and focus on my voice.”

Directed by Colin Solal Cardo and choreographed by Ryan Heffington, the video for “Bloom Baby Bloom” adds a theatrical layer to the band’s evolving image.

The Clearing, recorded in LA with Greg Kurstin, promises to be a daring, emotionally charged evolution for Wolf Alice—one that captures where they stand musically and artistically in 2025.
