Kali Uchis releases Sincerely, her fifth studio album via Capitol Records, marking her most intimate work to date. Spanning 14 tracks, the project is a heartfelt blend of romanticism, self-reflection, and vulnerability—all told through Uchis’ ethereal voice and visionary production.
Written and executive produced by Uchis herself, Sincerely invites listeners into her world: a space shaped by new motherhood, emotional healing, and artistic freedom. It’s a bold offering from one of music’s most genre-blurring talents.
The standout “All I Can Say” encapsulates the album’s tone:
“All I can say, is that you belong with me / And a dreamer should dream… / And my peace of mind? No, it will not be destroyed…”
Lead single “Sunshine & Rain” dropped in March, with Uchis describing it as a message about embracing joy in difficult times. In April, “ILYSMIH” followed, revealing a softer, maternal side with the sound of her son’s laughter included.
Elsewhere on Sincerely, Uchis examines past scars (“It’s Just Us”), leans into her flaws (“Silk Lingerie”), and sets boundaries (“Territorial”).
Uchis also made headlines at Coachella, joining JENNIE for a surprise live performance of their collaborative track “Damn Right.” With Sincerely, Kali Uchis continues to redefine what it means to be both artist and storyteller.
