Alex Wann and Shimza elevate the global afrotech scene with their collaborative single “Skill Of Love,” out now on Helix Records. First premiered during a special B2B set at Miami Music Week and later under the stars at the Pyramids of Giza, the track makes its official arrival.

Built with emotive loops and rhythmic depth, “Skill Of Love” delivers a sonic blend of airy vocal hooks, shimmering pianos, and a steady, brooding bassline that keeps tension building beneath the track’s hopeful tones.

Alex Wann rose to fame in 2023 with “Milkshake,” supported by Carlita, Diplo, Pete Tong, and more. Since then, he’s performed at global venues including Factory Town, Cercle, and IMS Dalt Vila alongside Pete Tong. His remix work for Adriatique & Eynka and Route 94 has earned acclaim, while his track “Set Me Free” with Aaron Hibell was remixed by CamelPhat and backed by RÜFÜS DU SOL.

Shimza’s impact continues to grow internationally. His collaborations span Elderbrook, Aloe Blacc, CamelPhat, and Louie Vega.
