Jax Jones opens a new chapter with the release of “Bad Boys,” a genre-pushing collaboration featuring pop provocateur Rebecca Black and boundary-smashing producer/DJ sooyeon. Out now via Eastern Margins and Astralwerks, the single marks a dynamic evolution for the global hitmaker—blending club culture from East and West into one electrifying anthem.

Tested on dancefloors from Pacha Ibiza to Fuji Rock Japan, “Bad Boys” is already a certified favorite among fans. With Jones’ signature big-room energy, Rebecca Black’s unapologetic vocal flair, and sooyeon’s cutting-edge underground style, the track bridges dance, pop, and global experimentation.

Following a life shift to Bangkok in late 2023, Jax immersed himself in East and Southeast Asia’s musical undercurrents, inspired by “redline”—a sound coined by Eastern Margins that reflects high-intensity club culture. “This is organic discovery,” says Jax. “Sub-genres like budots from the Philippines have reshaped my sound.”

With over 9 billion global streams and 65 platinum singles to his name, Jax’s new direction reflects artistic reinvention and personal growth. “Bad Boys” encapsulates that journey—connecting the diasporic spirit of the underground with mainstream ambition.

Rebecca Black, fresh off her SALVATION project, brings sharp vocals and alternative credibility. sooyeon, known for her high-energy DJ sets and playful persona, adds a kinetic pulse. “It’s such a fun and addictive track—I’m obsessed,” she says.

From club roots to cultural commentary, “Bad Boys” kicks off a reinvigorated era for Jax Jones—unfiltered, global, and gloriously loud.
