Wiz Khalifa Drops “5 Star” Featuring Gunna Ahead of “Kush + Orange Juice 2”

Multi-platinum artist Wiz Khalifa continues his rollout for Kush + Orange Juice 2 with the new single “5 Star” featuring Gunna. Produced by Mike & Keys, Jason Martin, and Dominique Sanders, the track is the fifth to be released from the long-awaited follow-up to 2010’s Kush & Orange Juice, one of the most influential mixtapes of the 2010s.

“5 Star” arrives on the heels of recent singles “Hit It Once,” “Bring Your Lungs” (feat. Smoke DZA), “Hide It” (feat. Don Toliver), and “Khalifa’s Home.” All five tracks will appear on Kush + Orange Juice 2, set to drop April 18.

Wiz teased “5 Star” via Instagram with a 40-second preview that quickly gained traction among fans eager to hear how the next chapter would unfold. The album celebrates 15 years since the original Kush & Orange Juice solidified Wiz’s place in hip-hop, and it promises to merge his signature chill energy with a fresh, evolved sound.

The project features returning producers from the original, including Cardo, ID Labs, and Sledgren, along with a heavyweight team of new collaborators such as Mike WiLL Made-It, Juicy J, DJ Quik, TM88, Lex Luger, and more.

Guest features span genres and generations, with appearances by OT Genasis, Ty Dolla $ign, Curren$y, Max B, Larry June, Don Toliver, and Chevy Woods.

With “5 Star” setting the tone, Kush + Orange Juice 2 is on track to be a defining moment in Wiz’s career—honoring his legacy while pushing his artistry forward.
