SOFI TUKKER breathe new life into a beloved classic with Sleepyhead 2025, their reimagination of Passion Pit’s iconic track. Out now via Animal Talk Records, the song blends SOFI TUKKER’s modern electronic production with the nostalgia of the original, creating a fresh take for both longtime fans and new listeners.

For Tucker Halpern, Sleepyhead has been a personal favorite for years. “The original was a defining song of my high school years in Boston. When I met Michael Angelakos, we connected over how much the industry has changed since Manners, and we decided to bring this track back for a new generation.”

The track has already gained momentum, with John Summit premiering it during his Tahoe Experts Only set in February. Additionally, Sleepyhead 2025 marks the return of SOFI TUKKER’s label, Animal Talk Records. “We started Animal Talk in 2018, and now we’re bringing it back,” says Tucker. “We’re beyond excited to relaunch it with this track.”

With a Vegas residency at Wynn Nightlife, performances at World Pride, BottleRock Napa Valley, and Breakaway Festival on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for SOFI TUKKER.
