EthanUno is back with “phase 1,” a track that embodies his genre-mixing, DIY approach to music. Out now via Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope, the song delivers glitchy production, smooth bilingual vocals, and a hypnotic West Coast groove.

Lyrically, EthanUno wastes no time setting the tone for the night:
“No quiero dormir, I wanna stay up / Been a while since you had a night off, take one / And if the party ain’t a vibe we gone make one / It’s ’bout be a long night, we in phase one.”

Shot at sunset, the music video features EthanUno dancing on a rooftop, dressed for the occasion in a Padres snapback and oversized shades.

With tracks like “DQTC” and “las mañanas” from necesidad already gaining traction, “phase 1” further cements EthanUno’s place in the next wave of Latin pop and hyperpop crossovers. His unique blend of styles has already earned recognition from Frank Ocean and Rosalía, along with a rapidly growing fanbase.
