Novulent’s EP BEFORE EVOLUTION offers raw storytelling and cinematic sounds. Now streaming everywhere.

Emerging artist Novulent drops his latest EP, BEFORE EVOLUTION, via Capitol Records. Featuring three tracks, the project highlights his unique sound, blending emotional vulnerability with cinematic production.

The EP includes the standout single “death wish,” a dark, mesmerizing track featuring New Zealand artist whatsaheart. The song captures the highs and lows of a toxic relationship with vivid, exaggerated storytelling. “A toxic relationship feels like a death wish,” says Novulent. “Your emotions are heightened, and it feels like you’re going to be harmed by being around them.”

As he closes his first headline Evolution Tour, which included sold-out dates in major cities, Novulent reflects on how BEFORE EVOLUTION represents a bridge to his next era. “This EP is a proper expression of emotional vulnerability, but it also shows how I’ve improved as an artist,” he shares.

Having gained over 111 million Spotify streams for his breakout hit “scars,” Novulent continues to make a name for himself with his fusion of hard rock, shoegaze, and Midwest emo.
