J Balvin kicks off 2025 with his first release of the year, “Rio,” a deeply introspective track that reflects on gratitude, growth, and spiritual healing. Released via Mazzarri and ODDLIQUOR, the single blends Balvin’s signature reggaeton sound with a fresh, reflective tone.

With lyrics like “Hoy le doy las gracias al cielo / por las veces que me equivoque” (Today I give thanks to the heavens / For the times I messed up), Balvin highlights the importance of life’s lessons and the strength he’s found in facing challenges. The chorus, “Pa qué buscar en la calle / Lo que abunda en mi casa” (Why hit the streets to look for / What is plentiful in my house), reinforces themes of self-awareness and appreciating what truly matters.
