Indie-pop star Chloe Moriondo has debuted her latest single, “shoreline,” a wistful and emotionally charged track now available on all streaming platforms via Public Consumption/Fueled By Ramen. Written and produced with Chloe Kraemer (The Japanese House), the song explores the pain and clarity that come after a breakup.
In “shoreline,” Chloe sings: “You’re still so mean and sweet at the same time / left me alone on the shoreline / washed up and waiting at high tide.” With its pulsing rhythm and raw lyricism, the track is a poignant reflection of vulnerability, creating an intimate connection with listeners.
Reflecting on the song’s personal meaning, Chloe shared: “‘shoreline’ is very near and dear to my heart. It encapsulates a lot of the feelings that came from my first big breakup, and I poured a lot of myself into it. I hope it’s gently loved ♡.”
Alongside the release, Chloe unveiled an official visualizer on her YouTube channel, giving fans a visual companion to the track. She also announced a headline North American tour, starting April 25 in Detroit and wrapping up May 23 in Toronto. Highlights include performances at LA’s Echoplex on May 9 and NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on May 20.
With “shoreline,” Chloe Moriondo proves once again why she’s a favorite in the indie-pop scene, offering a track filled with emotional resonance and honesty. Fans can expect even more from her in the months to come.
