Puerto Rican phenomenon DIA has teamed up with singer-songwriter paopao for the release of “CON EL.” The genre-blending single, released via Casablanca Records, is available on all streaming platforms, alongside a visually impactful music video.

Showcasing innovative production, “CON EL” experiments with the reggaeton genre, pairing DIA’s dynamic delivery with paopao’s smooth and soulful voice. The track opens with shimmering marimba synths, transitions into a pounding reggaeton beat, and weaves a story of reflection and heartbreak.

DIA shared his thoughts on the collaboration: “I started working on the song with Red Finger (producer), and from the moment I wrote the intro, I instantly thought of Paopao. She gives her fans that pleasant sadness in her songs. We got together in the studio, and it flowed easily. We wanted to take ‘regret’ in a different direction, and storytelling through my songs is something that identifies me. We merged both worlds together, and it resulted in ‘CON EL.’”

The accompanying music video tells a story of lost love, featuring DIA revisiting memories through a plush toy tied to a breakup. Meanwhile, Paopao approaches DIA’s door but stops, with both artists ultimately walking away from the past.
